Ambulatory software vendor Sevocity will integrate into its electronic health records software the practice-branded patient portal and personal health records application of NoMoreClipboard.com, Fort Wayne, Ind.
The portal enables the transmission of data between physician EHRs and patient PHRs, and supports secure messaging for appointment scheduling, medication refills, and billing and clinical questions.
San Antonio-based Sevocity already offers a portal for secure messaging, but increasingly is seeing physicians interested in offering PHRs and expanded portal functions to patients, says Elaine Mendoza, president and CEO. The company's Web-based EHR is available via the application service provider model.
