The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has posted Stage 2 EHR  meaningful use specification sheets for eligible professionals and hospitals.

The sheets list the objective, measure and exclusion for each core and menu objective, in addition to a definition of terms, attestation requirements, and corresponding standards and certification criteria.

The specification sheets are designed to aid in calculating the numerator and denominator for each objective, and in determining qualification for an exclusion from an objective. Click here for the sheets.

So looked at the sheets, and sheets and sheets. STUPID, STUPID STUPID! Can we all agree this needs to be way more simple? As early implimenter I think I will take the money for my 3 years and run. Maybe if everyone did this than stopped doing MU to infinity with sheets forever, we might get a system that is more SANE to get smart docs back in.
