The final Stage 2 electronic health records meaningful use requirements have been released and Health Data Management has rounded up industry experts who have read through the voluminous requirements and unearthed some unexpected challenges.

At Noon ET on Wednesday, September 5, HDM will host a free Web seminar to discuss ramped up requirements for electronic medication administration, secure patient/physician messaging and other exchanges of health information, and use of clinical decision support, among other issues.

The speakers are Brenda Pawlak, a Director at Manatt Health Solutions; and
Debra Alligood White, a partner in the health transactions and policy group of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. There also will be time for a Q&A session with audience members. Registration is available here.
