Virco Lab Inc. has launched AVIGA, an electronic health records system specifically for the HIV/AIDS treatment community.

The EHR is a re-developed platform of the LABTRACKER HIV electronic records system that Virco acquired from Ground Zero Software in 2009.  The new system supports the graphing of such clinical indicators as viral load and CD4 trends against antiretroviral therapy and integrate longitudinal resistance profiles, according to the vendor.

Virco also has introduced AVIGA REPORTER, a Web-based data reporting module for research and other requirements such as Ryan White Care Act reporting. The application can be used as a standalone product or integrated to an EHR. More information is available at avigaehr.com.
