Four electronic health records software vendors in recent days have announced certification of specific versions of products meeting meaningful use requirements.

"Complete EHR" certification means a product meets all inpatient or ambulatory requirements; "EHR Module" certification means an ancillary system meets a subset of requirements. The new certifications are:

* AZZLY EHR/PM/PHR, as an ambulatory Complete EHR, from InfoGard Laboratories;

* CareTech Solutions' iDoc version 5.5 document imaging system, as an EHR Module, from the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology;

* Iatric Systems' Public Health Immunization Interface, MAGIC version 5.2, as an EHR Module, from CCHIT; and

* Innovative Workflow Technologies' PICASO nursing documentation systems, as an EHR Module, from ICSA Labs.
