The Medical Records Institute in Boston will host an EMR Boot Camp audio conference for physician practices on Aug. 21.
The event is designed to assist physicians, managers and others in understanding the benefits and hurdles of electronic records systems, the assessment and selection of vendors, and why some records implementations succeed while others fail.
Practices already using records software will learn ways to reach the full potential of their systems, according to the institute, an industry advocacy organization and conference sponsor.
An audio conference involves calling into a dedicated telephone line and following along with a PDF, PowerPoint or Web presentation. The $195 registration fee covers access to the phone line and an unlimited number of participants.
