Practice Fusion Inc., vendor of free, advertiser-supported physician practice management and electronic health records software, has introduced an electronic prescribing module.
The module enables electronic connectivity with more than 50,000 pharmacies via the national e-prescribing network of Alexandria, Va.-based Surescripts.
The module, used standalone or as part of the EHR, also offers a continuously updated medication library, refill requests, free set-up assistance and delivery of prescription details to a patient's personal health record from San Francisco-based Practice Fusion.
More information is available at practicefusion.com.
