Document imaging and management software vendor Streamline Health Solutions saw a small net profit and revenue growth during the first quarter of fiscal 2009, which ended April 30.

The Cincinnati-based company had net income of $16,000, compared with an $815,000 loss during the same period last year. First quarter revenue increased less than 1% to $3.8 million.

The quarter featured the closing of a contract valued at more than $1 million for several Canadian facilities. It is the second large Canadian contract won in the past year.
