Medicaid Plan Adds Disease Mgmt. App

DC Chartered Health Plan Inc., a Medicaid managed care plan serving 75,000 members, will implement the Alineo disease management software from MEDecision Inc., Wayne, Pa.

The Washington, D.C.-based plan will use the software to assist in meeting certain requirements in its renewed Medicaid contract, particularly for National Committee for Quality Assurance and Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set accreditations.

The vendor will remotely host the software and full implementation is expected by year-end. More information is available at medecision.com.
