The new East Cooper Regional Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., will implement in its eight operating rooms surgical dashboards displaying procedure data and video.

The 140-bed facility will use the OR-Dashboard of Cambridge, Mass.-based LiveData Inc. to display data from patient monitors, medical devices and a surgical information system from McKesson Corp., San Francisco.

The hospital also will use the KARL STORZ OR1 system and endoscopic devices of El Segundo, Calif.-based KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America Inc. to capture and display on dashboards live video of procedures, and diagnostic images and data from a picture archiving and communications system.

The hospital, part of Tenet Healthcare Corp., will open in April. More information is available at eastcoopermedctr.com.
