Pharmacy company CVS Health says it has signed a lease on a 15,000-square-foot facility in Boston to serve as its digital innovation lab.
"The new CVS Health Digital Innovation Lab can house approximately 100 employees, with 90 percent of them anticipated as new hires," company executives said in a statement. "Plans for the new office include the creation of an open concept workspace that encourages idea-sharing and innovation to produce the next level of digital technology that will help enhance the customer experience through convenient, easy-to-use digital tools."
The company said it expects the lab to expand upon and augment its current digital assets, which include the website CVS.com, the CVS/pharmacy mobile smartphone app, and the CVS/pharmacy iPad app.
