Mobile, Ala.-based CPSI saw first quarter net income climb 5.1 percent to $5.65 million, but earnings per share of 51 cents came in five cents below expectations. Quarterly revenue increased 10.2 percent to $44.5 million.
The stock price was up 7 percent in late morning trading on April 27 with moderately higher trading volume.
