Being offered for $499 or $599 per physician per month is the MyWay software of Allscripts, including electronic health records, patient portal and practice management modules, as well as claims processing. Etransmedia Technology Inc. in Troy, N.Y., remotely hosts the software.
The pricing, contingent on the level of membership at Costco, reflects monthly payments on a 60-month lease-to-own contract. That's a $29,940 cost at $499 per month and $35,940 cost at $599 per month. Hardware is not included in the price but on-site server hardware is not required.
