Chicago Docs Select Free Software Apps

Ravenswood Physician Association, a Chicago-based 200-member group practice, will use remotely hosted physician practice management and electronic health records software from Practice Fusion Inc., San Francisco.

The advertiser-supported software is free and accessed via the application service provider computing model. Advertising is small, discrete and private, says Ryan Howard, CEO of Practice Fusion. Physician practices can have an advertising-free system for $100 per physician per month.
