Consultant Boosts Hospital Services

Information technology consulting firm Upp Technology has significantly increased its services to hospitals.

The Downers Grove, Ill.-based firm is offering implementation and configuration services for information systems from Cerner Corp., Epic Systems Corp. and McKesson Corp.

Until now, Upp Technology primarily has provided I.T. staffing and security and transactions processing consulting services to insurers, primarily Blues, Medicare and Medicaid plans. It also has worked with hospitals on infrastructure and security projects for five years.
