Improvements include higher messaging volumes and support for files up to 1 GB in size, ability to run CONNECT on more types of application servers, advanced logging, and a smaller server footprint and use of resources.
The Federal Health Architecture initiative developed CONNECT, available as a free download to all stakeholders, with the Departments of Health and Human Services, Defense, Veterans Affairs and the Social Security Administration. FHA will host two Web seminars to explain CONNECT 4.0 and its expanded capabilities.
More information on the platform and the seminars is in a new blog posting from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
