SNOMED CT Conference Slated

A conference will be held in the Chicago area April 20-24 to address the latest developments in SNOMED Clinical Terms, a clinical reference terminology that can be used in electronic health records.

The International Health Terminology Standards Development Organisation, which oversees SNOMED CT, will host its spring conference at the Hotel Orrington in Evanston, just north of Chicago.

The event, designed for health care providers, technology vendors as well as government officials from numerous nations, will include technical updates on clinical content. Keynoting the event will be Jennifer Zelmer, the new CEO of IHSTDO.
