Monitoring Collectors Performance

Connance Inc. has introduced technology designed to help hospitals monitor the performance of their collection agencies.
The Waltham, Mass.-based companys Connance Agency Manager includes a shared database that provides daily updates on the collection status of accounts and actions the agency has taken. It makes the collector more accountable about their processes and helps build trust, says David Franklin, chief development officer.

The technology is made available via the application service provider computing model. The company made the announcement at the Healthcare Financial Management Associations Annual National Institute in Las Vegas.
