CMS Readies its ACO Education Program

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' Innovation Center is offering a free series of four ACO Learning Sessions being scheduled across the nation.
The first session is scheduled for June 20-22 in Minneapolis. Dates will be finalized for sessions in the San Francisco region in September, Atlanta in October and Philadelphia in November.
Each team attending a session should include two to four senior-level leaders including at least one with financial management responsibility and one with clinical responsibility. Faculty at each session will include senior leaders from organizations that have developed many of the characteristics of an ACO, as well as other industry experts.
