East Windsor, N.J.-based ClinPhone, a vendor of information systems to manage clinical trials, will integrate with the data analysis software of Cytel Inc., Cambridge, Mass., to better manage “adaptive” trials.

Adaptive clinical trials use accumulating response data to determine if mid-course adjustments are necessary during a trial without undermining the integrity of the trial.

The combined application will support planning and implementation, study design consultations, trial simulations, supplies planning and management, clinical data collection, randomization, data analysis and reporting, according to the vendors.

More information is available at cytel.com and clinphone.com.
