Firm Tackles Comp, Auto Claims Filing

Claims clearinghouse Emdeon Business Services now supports electronic filing of workers’ compensation and automobile-related medical claims with simultaneous submission of attachments.

The transactions processing service complies with various state regulations governing electronic billing for these types of claims, according to the Nashville, Tenn.-based vendor.

Emdeon is using a workers’ comp/auto accident transactions processing platform from Concord, Calif.-based Jopari Solutions Inc. The platform is combined with Emdeon’s extensive electronic data interchange network of providers and payers.
