OB-GYN EHR Gets Certified

Nashville, Tenn.-based digiChart Inc. has received product certification under 2007 criteria from the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology.

The ambulatory electronic health records system certification is for Version 7 of the vendor's OB-GYN electronic health records system. Two ambulatory EHR applications from Misys Healthcare Systems, Raleigh, N.C., were the most recent systems certified by CCHIT last February, bringing the total to 23.

The organization, which also certifies inpatient records systems, will accept applications for its 2007 certification program until March 31.
