The Center for Cell Phone Applications in Healthcare will hold an audiocast on the subject October 9.
C. Peter Waegemann, CEO of the Medical Records Institute, a Boston-based firm best known for its TEPR conference, will be the featured speaker for the phone-in event.
The Institute recently established the Center, a membership organization that studies and advocates the advancement of cell phone applications. The organization plans to work with application developers to promote developing a range of services on cell phones to facilitate interoperability of health information.
Those who purchase a $500 individual membership in the new group receive free admission to two audiocasts, among other benefits. Institutional membership options also are available. The audiocast costs $195 for non-members.
