Brochures Explain PHRs to Consumers, Clinicians

Eight stakeholder associations have developed brochures explaining the value of personal health records for consumers and clinicians.

The brochures include explanation of benefits, testimonials, screen examples and a glossary of terms. Also available are Q&A’s for consumers and clinicians.

Organizations that developed the materials include the American Cancer Society, American College of Physicians, American Diabetes Society, American Health Information Management Association, American Heart Association, American Osteopathic Association of Medical Informatics, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, and Medical Group Management Association.
