Information security firms FairWarning and ID Experts have integrated their products to offer services to prepare for data breaches, detect them, and manage the investigation and resolution of a breach.

FairWarning’s breach detection software enables the automated monitoring of information systems to flag patterns of access that could indicate snooping and identity theft, based on more than 100 behavior-based scenarios. The software also audits disclosures of information and can drill down to isolate disclosures related to patient-specific complaints.

ID Experts’ breach management software supports risk assessment, mitigation and compliance, and preparedness before a breach, and the assessment of harm and patient notification requirements, incident reporting to regulators, and monitoring and recovery following a breach.
