Two behavioral health organizations in Ohio have formed a joint venture to aid all behavioral health and human services providers in the state to adopt practice management and electronic health records systems at a lower cost than if they acquired the systems individually.

Coleman Professional Services, headquartered in Kent and serving northeast Ohio, and Columbus-based Center of Vocational Alternatives serving central Ohio, have established the Ohio Provider EHR Collaborative. The goal is to acquire an information system as part of a multi-provider group.
