Siemens to Market Single-Sign-On

Malvern, Pa.-based Siemens Healthcare will resell single-sign-on and authentication software from Imprivata Inc., Lexington, Mass.

Siemens says its customers will be able to integrate Imprivata’s OneSign product into Siemens applications as well as those from other health care I.T. vendors. OneSign automates password policy implementation and performs password changes automatically. The technology enables single-sign-on and password changes for all applications without writing logon scripts, building custom connectors or modifying applications, according to Siemens.

Earlier, Siemens entered a reseller agreement for self-service kiosks with the Galvanon unit of NCR Corp., Dayton, Ohio.
