The ITF-Mobile application can alert physicians with visual and audio alerts of incoming clinical messages and abnormal results, according to the Blue Bell, Pa.-based vendor. User-defined rules can deliver all results, results with abnormal values, or only results specifically ordered by a physician and requested by a patient. Physicians also can select specific lab tests for automated trending to monitor result trends.
ITF-Mobile is an extension of the vendor's ITF-Portal, a Web-based connectivity platform. Results are pushed to a physician's smart phone, rather than the physician having to login to a computer. More information is available at halfpenny.com.
