Sentry Data Systems Inc. has introduced a data analytics module to its SentinelRCM hospital pharmacy revenue cycle management application.

The Claims Guardian module is designed to help hospitals examine bills for unusual, missing or errant charges that may affect payer reimbursement, according to the Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based vendor.

Functions in the new module flag fluctuating reimbursements by payer, provider or location; identify missed billing opportunities, and document actual invoice costs matched to submitted charges on claims, among other capabilities. More information is available at sentryds.com.
