Physician practice management/electronic health records vendor Pulse has received full accreditation from the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission as an entity meeting best business practices for processing transactions or exchanging health information.

Industry-sponsored EHNAC reviewed Pulse’s operations in the areas of privacy measures (including encryption), systems availability, security infrastructure, and managing and transferring protected health information.

EHNAC accreditation programs cover health information exchanges, information systems, electronic prescribing, financial services, claims clearinghouses, value added networks, medical billers, payer-owned electronic health networks, third-party administrators, management service organizations and outsourced services such as remote hosting.
