The American Medical Association has introduced its first mobile application, a reference tool to enable physicians to quickly find appropriate CPT billing codes.
The association also has started the 2011 AMA App Challenge to submit application ideas for the association to develop. All U.S. physicians, residents and medical students may participate.
The new CPT app is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad devices. It enables decision-tree logic and search options to find codes, track and e-mail selected codes, and to save frequently used codes by location or type of service. For more information and to download the app, click here.
