AirStrip Technologies Inc., a vendor of software that enables transmission of patient information from monitoring devices and electronic health records to a clinician's mobile device, has introduced an enterprise version.

The product, called AirStrip One, combines existing modules for labor and delivery, cardiology, patient monitors and electronic health records in a single product supporting all settings of care in an organization.

San Francisco-based Dignity Health worked with the vendor and is implementing the product across more than 300 inpatient and ambulatory sites in 17 states. The enterprise system will enable physicians to find all the data they need in one place regardless of where they are located, says Shez Partovi, M.D., CMIO in Dignity Health’s Arizona region.

The product includes such tools as medical device connectivity, EHR adapters, single-sign-on, context management, and analytics and reporting. Additional components supporting medical imaging, health information exchange connectivity, secure messaging and video conferencing are expected later in 2013.

The vendor will demonstrate AirStrip One during the HIMSS Conference in New Orleans.
