TeleHealth Services, a vendor of television systems for hospitals, has acquired a competitor for an undisclosed price.
The Raleigh, N.C.-based company has bought the Instant HealthLine business of Pathware Inc., Peoria, Ill. Pathware recently announced it was ceasing operations.
Both companies sell systems that include entertainment, education and communications services via televisions or computers. TeleHealth Services has about 250 clients. It now adds Pathwares 150 customers.
