EHR Vendor Adds Practice Mgmt.

Noteworthy Medical Systems Inc., a vendor of electronic health records software for physician practices, has acquired MARS Medical Systems Inc., which sells practice management and patient Web portal software.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Cleveland-based Noteworthy and Phoenix-based MARS Medical have been strategic partners with Noteworthy reselling MARS’ practice management system. Combined, the companies serve 4,600 providers and 8,300 other users in more than 1,000 practices in 43 states.
