SCIOinspire Makes a Second Buy

SCIOinspire Corp., a vendor of cost containment software for health insurers, has announced its second acquisition in a week, picking up Solucia Inc. for an undisclosed price.

Farmington, Conn.-based Solucia is a vendor of data analytics software and consulting services. This includes predictive modeling and risk evaluation software to develop care and disease management programs; and applications to assess and price the programs and measure their outcomes.

Hartford, Conn.-based SCIOinspire sells software for claims management; disease and care management; data analytics and reporting; membership provider management; and actuarial management.

SCIOinspire last week acquired Pittsburgh-based SOCRATES Inc., which sells software to manage the subrogation and coordination of benefits processes.
