Contractor CACI Continues Health Care Push

Information technology contractor CACI International Inc. has expanded its footprint in health care by acquiring IDL Solutions of Germantown, Wis. Terms were not disclosed.

Arlington, Va.-based CACI has focused on national security clients such as federal defense and intelligence agencies. In November 2012 it bought health care contractor Emergint Technologies, which provides systems planning, implementation, integration and assessment services.

Now, CACI adds data analytics technology with IDL Solutions, which has contracts with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Food and Drug Administration and National Institutes of Health. IDL expects 2012 revenue of about $18.5 million. CACI has nearly 15,000 employees in 120 offices.
