Parsippany, N.J.-based MD On-Line acquired an ambulatory electronic health records system, called eChartEdge, when it bought Healthware Solutions in November 2010. Now, it can offer a complete ambulatory product line along with transactions processing services.
In addition to claims processing, MD On-Line, which operates in eight states, also handles eligibility verification, claim status and electronic remittance advice transactions, as well as payment card processing and patient statements.
