Academy of Pediatrics Offers Free Health Tracker App

The American Academy of Pediatrics has updated its Child Health Tracker app and is offering it to parents free of charge during the month of February (regular price: $4.99).

In addition to giving parents on-demand access to their children's health information via their smartphone, the AAP added features to the app such as a medication tracker module that allows parents to post medication information for each of their children, set alerts, add dosage information, note side effects, etc.

Also included in updated version 2.0 are a number of medication safety articles from HealthyChildren.org, the official AAP website for parents.
