IIHI and or PHI should not be transferred or transmitted via the internet recourse's without having some kind of holding que in place. With this security measurement in place, the proper party will catch this mistake prior to submitting. Hospital protocol should have a holding cue for review prior to submission, the information should be reviewed by management or the appropriate party to verify the information being sent prior to submitting.
