Web Site Enables Misdiagnosis Sharing

Franklin, Tenn.-based Premerus has launched a Web portal designed to enable patients and their families to share and learn about the impact of medical misdiagnoses.

The site, yourmisdiagnosis.com, offers consumers opportunities to learn information about the various categories of misdiagnoses, read submissions from other consumers and submit their own anecdotes. Consumers also can choose to remain anonymous while viewing or posting information to the site.

Premerus is a diagnostic management company that enables hospitals and physicians to electronically send data or images to a network of medical specialists to facilitate a more accurate initial diagnosis. For more information, go to premerus.com.
