The Indiana University Health Center in Bloomington will offer students free personal health records software.

The PHR software comes from NoMoreClipboard.com, Fort Wayne, Ind. The university intends soon to enable PHR users to import medical information from the health center's electronic health record system.

Before a visit, users can answer appointment-specific questions through their PHR. The answers populate registration forms that are integrated into the EHR. Students also can transmit information from their PHR to hometown physicians and other health professionals, and can keep the PHR after they graduate.

More information is available at Indiana.edu/~health/ and nomoreclipboard.com.
