Insurance Seller to Market PHRs

The Benefit Source Inc., an Elmhurst, Ill.-based independent insurance brokerage firm offering group and individual health policies nationwide, will market the personal health records software of MedeFile International Inc.

The MedeVault PHR from Cedar Knolls, N.J.-based MedeFile includes document imaging and management technology to enable the vendor to collect and digitize a user’s official medical records with permission of the physician, and place those records with patient-entered data in the PHR.
