Saint Francis Swaps its PACS

Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa, Okla., will replace a legacy picture archiving and communication system with the Fusion PACS MX 3.0 application of Merge Healthcare, Milwaukee.

The Merge application includes a module enabling a single work list for digital X-ray, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, positron emission tomography and mammography imaging modalities. It also enables radiologists to read mammography images on the same workstation as they use for other modalities, according to the vendor.

Saint Francis Health System is a five-hospital delivery system anchored by 918-bed Saint Francis Hospital.
