AMICAS Introduces PACS Enhancements

Boston-based AMICAS Inc. will demonstrate version 5.5 of its Vision Series PACS picture archiving and communication system at the 2007 Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting, Nov. 25-30 in Chicago.

The new version will feature personalized workflow management, improved support for remote monitoring and new high availability options. It also will enable better communication of emergency department study reservations, according to the vendor.
