New Moniker for Perot's JJWild Unit

Perot Systems Corp. has changed the name of its JJWild unit that specializes in implementing hospital information systems from Medical Information Technology Inc., Westwood, Mass.

The unit now is the MEDITECH Solutions Group within Plano, Texas-based Perot, which bought JJWild in August 2007. The unit has been a MEDITECH technology partner for more than 20 years. Its services include application implementation and project management; business and clinical process redesign; go-live readiness assessment; and I.T. infrastructure, network, data storage, disaster recovery, document management, application and patient safety design and deployment.
