Arkansas Hospital Picks HMS for HIS

Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas, Ark., will implement the clinical/financial community hospital information systems of Healthcare Management Systems Inc., Nashville, Tenn.

The 25-bed critical access hospital will replace a legacy financial-only information system as well as pharmacy and laboratory systems, and adopt electronic health records. The integrated systems from HMS also will serve a rural health clinic and home health agency.
