The Department of Health and Human Services has announced new and continuing members of the HIT Policy and HIT Standards Committees, representing industry stakeholders that advise the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology. The committees are very influential, particularly in setting criteria for the electronic health records meaningful use incentive program.

Deven McGraw, a privacy and security representative and director of the Health Privacy Project at the Center for Democracy & Technology, will continue to serve on the HIT Policy Committee.
