Randolph Medical Center in Roanoke, Ala., will implement the full clinical/financial/administrative hospital information system of Dairyland Healthcare Solutions, Glenwood, Minn.
Diaryland also will build a data repository that will act as a data exchange platform between 34-bed Randolph Medical Center and East Alabama Medical Center, its primary transfer hospital 50 miles away in Opelika. The platform will enable 352-bed East Alabama, which uses clinical systems from Kansas City, Mo.-based Cerner Corp., to access pertinent information on transferred patients.
Implementation at Randolph Medical Center started in mid-July and is scheduled for completion in February.
