Atlanta-based Eclipsys Corp. will offer to its clients a health information exchange platform using HIE technology from Medicity Inc.

Under the alliance, the vendors will develop pre-built interfaces to Eclipsys products to aid rapid implementation. Salt Lake City-based Medicity has integrated with more than 50 electronic medical records applications and 150 other information systems, according to the vendor.

Eclipsys will market the platform as HealthXchange. More information is available at eclipsys.com and medicity.com.
