PACS Firm to Sell Through GPO

Los Altos, Calif.-based ScImage Inc. will offer its picture archiving and communications systems through the group purchasing organization of Broadlane, Dallas.

Broadlane serves 1,000 hospitals, 450 radiology centers and 3,200 ambulatory care facilities. ScImage will offer its radiology and cardiology PACS; an on-demand, pay-as-you-go PACS; and disaster recovery/business continuity services at “significant operational cost savings” according to the vendor.
